KZ Tandingan expressed her gratitude to actress Angel Locsin for helping her kababayan in Mindanao.




Angel Locsin and fiancé, Neil Arce recently joined relief efforts for Mindanao earthquake victims.


It was on November 1 when the engaged couple was spotted at NCCC Uyanguren buying truckloads of rice and other grocery items that were distributed to residents in quake-affected areas.


The couple went from a Halloween bash called Opulence: Let Them Eat Cake on October 31 to the said shopping center in Davao City then in Digos City, Davao Del Sur later that same day where Angel was seen sorting and distributing relief goods together with the Philippine Red Cross team, Davao Del Sur Chapter. They were also spotted in North Cotabato the following day.




Photos and videos of Angel rendering humanitarian service in Mindanao went viral on Facebook and other social media platforms and her monickers “real life Angel,” “real life Darna” and “real life superhero” once again effortlessly surface online.


Meanwhile, celebrities also laud and thank Angel Locsin for extending aid to our ‘kababayans’ in Mindanao. One of them is the singer and rapper KZ Tandingan who is from the quake-hit Digos, Davao Del Sur. Her family also got affected by the traumatic series of strong earthquakes but thankfully they were safe.


During her recent interview, she thanked Angel Locsin for her relief efforts for the earthquake victims saying, “Ms. Angel, maraming maraming salamat po pala sa inyong pagpunta doon. Alam po namin na galing pa kayo sa Halloween party pero dumerecho kayo doon.”



Angel Locsin has participated in numerous disaster relief efforts in the past. “And in all the times she showed up to help, Locsin did so without any announcement to media, her acts just captured by those who witnessed her visits, posting videos and photos online.” -ABS-CBN News.

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims.
