Angel Locsin and Dimples Romana are the best of friends we all look up to. Two beautiful women with genuinely good and kind hearted hearts and two of the most successful in their field.


They have been very expressive of their love for each other. They both generously share photos on social media with heartwarming captions dedicated for each other and as if their friendship isn’t perfect enough, Dimples just recently revealed that they haven’t had any disagreement or misunderstanding yet.


But just like any other friendship, there are some instances that Angel made her hotheaded and on her interview she said  “Ako naman mainit ang ulo ko diyan pag nakikita kong nag-i-stunts, ang init ng ulo ko. Ini-screen shots ko, sine-send ko sa kanya. ‘May problema ba tayo?’ Tapos ang sagot niya lang sa akin, ‘Ha-ha-ha.’”




She also said that she always remind Angel to take it easy on doing action scenes but as a passionate actress that she is, Angel is unstoppable.


“Naku, kung kayo ang kaibigan ni Gel feeling mo makikinig sa ‘yo? Kailan ka titigill? Hindi, naku. Baka lalo pa niya akong inisin at magsasasakay pa siya ng truck na umaandar. Kasi ganun niya ako gustong inisin, eh. Yung alam niya ng nag-aalala ako sa kanya gagawin niya pa talaga paulit-ulit.”


And because of that, Dimples revealed that she’s also as persistent on reminding the actress to take care of herself.

“Ay hindi. Paulit-ulit kong sini-send sa kanya yung pictures. ‘Ikaw ha, ang init ng ulo ko. Nakita ko gumagalaw yung truck, nasa ilalim ka nung truck. Naku Gel, hindi mo kailangang gawin yan, may mga stunts na puwedeng gumawa niyan.’ Eh, kaso sobrang pagmamahal niya sa trabaho niya kaya gagawin niya talaga. Kaya ang ginawa ko na lang binilhan ko siya ng beads, pang-health. Lahat ng pampatulong na beads, binilhan ko siya ng beads for good health,” the Kadenang Ginto star shared.

The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
