“Ikaw talaga ang superhero ko, ikaw ang idol ko”— Angel Locsin to Dimples Romana.





As what we have previously reported, Angel Locsin surprised Dimples Romana on her birthday on the set of Kadenang Ginto. They were able to pull it off successfully and just as we thought it ends there, Angel Locsin surprised her bestfriend a new.


On Dimples Romana’s birthday celebration in Magandang Buhay, Angel Locsin sent a heartfelt birthday greeting for her dear friend. The actress started the greeting by wishing Dimples a happy birthday “Happy happy birthday sa’yo. ‘Wag kang kabahan, hindi kita ilalaglag ngayon dahil it’s your day. Gusto lang naman kitang batiin at gusto kong ipaalam sa lahat ng nakakanood nito na hindi ‘nyo pa alam kung gaano kabait si Ms. Dimples Romana.”




Angel Locsin then proceeded to give her heartfelt message to her long time friend that brought Dimples to tears “Kung ako si Darna, ikaw talaga ang superhero ko, ikaw ang idol ko. Kung ano man ang blessing na natatanggap mo lahat siguro mag-aagree na deserve na deserve mo ‘yun dahil mabuti kang tao at pinagtrabahuhan mo talaga ng husto.”


The actress ended her message with a promise of a long lasting friendship and unending support to Dimples and said, “Eto ako kaibigan mo, forever number one fan, number one basher. Lagi kitang ipagtatanggol, lagi akong magiging honest sa’yo, nasa likod mo lang ako kahit anong mangyari. Pasensya na, nandito ako sa buhay mo habang buhay, wala ka nang magagawa, dito lang ako, di mo ako mapapaalis.”


We have seen how affectionate Angel Locsin and Dimples Romana are towards each other. For the past ten years that they have been friends, we have seen how they care for each other and look for one another’s welfare.




Some may say finding genuine friendship in showbizness may be close to impossible but Angel Locsin and Dimples Romana proved otherwise.

The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
