Friendship goals! Angel Locsin and Dimples Romana is this year’s Rawr Awards’ favorite bida and kontabida of the year!





Angel Locsin has yet again sweep awards at the recently concluded RAWR Awards, an annual event brought to you by LionhearTV that honors the best and brightest stars and programs in the Philippine entertainment industry.


RAWR Awards was held last Nov. 14, 2019 at Core Bar Timog in Quezon City. Best and brightest stars were given recognition for their outstanding performance and significant contribution in uplifting the quality of entertainment in the country. RAWR Awards recognizes actors, hosts, performers, news personalities and various TV programs in the country.


After bagging five best actress awards for her exceptional portrayal as Rhian Bonifacio in ‘The General’s Daughter’, Angel Locsin wins a new as favorite bida ng taon besting other nominees in her category such as Alden Richards, Jo Berry, Bianca Umali, Coco Martin, Dingdong Dantes, Kris Bernal and Jericho Rosales.




Angel Locsin has displayed exceptional skills not just in acting but also in doing action stunts that amazed the viewers. She got the most votes from fans, LionhearTV readers and bloggers in the blogging community.


Dimples Romana on the other hand was hailed as the favorite Kontrabida for her role in Kadenang Ginto besting other nominees in the category! Sadly, they were not able to accept the award personally as they are both in Rome for ASAP Natin ‘To Rome on November 16, 2019.


Direk John Lapuz, one of Kadenang Ginto’s director and Dreamscape staff received the awards on their behalf.


Seems like having a good and genuine heart is not the only thing that these two bestfriends share in common! They also share the same talent and excellence in acting. They literally define what friendship goal really is!

Mayor Isko to Angel Locsin, “Mabasa ka sana ng ulan para dumami ka pa.”

City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was filled with so much gratitude as he thanked those people for their outpouring support to the city of Manila via donations and to those who have provided assistance including the philanthropic actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans. On her Instagram post, the actress expressed her gratitude to more than 100 volunteers who helped them repack food packs and hygiene kits.
