Dreamscape adprom head explains Angel Locsin’s absence in ‘Family is Forever’ Christmas Station ID.





One of the most anticipated holidays we Filipinos are fond of celebrating is Christmas. As soon as the year hits the month of September, we can already feel the Christmas vibes but aside from the christmas carols you’ll hear everywhere and the glistening christmas lights along the streets, ABS-CBN Christmas Station ID is also one of the things that make us feel that Christmas is indeed fast approaching!


ABS-CBN conveys their Yuletide messages through its Christmas Station ID that started way back 2002. They create an original song to be sung by the network’s biggest and brightest stars in chorus. Every song that has been created captured the heart of every Kapamilya as its message is always relevant.




This year, Kapamilya network focused on the theme ‘Family is Forever.’ The newly released station ID was composed of a new melody and a mash up of all the past sation IDs that has been part of every Filipino’s Christmas celebration. The stars of the network were featured in the said station ID and were grouped according to their respective shows but one of the biggest stars of ABS-CBN seems to be missing, it’s Angel Locsin.


Angel Locsin’s absence in the recent station ID did not go unnoticed by fans. Many are wondering why the actress was not in the video and Dreamscape adprom head Eric John Salut explains Angel Locsin’s absence.


As per his response on a fan asking why Angel Locsin is not in the video, he explained that the actress was not feeling well when it was taped, “May fever po sya nung day ng shoot” he said.




Aside from Angel Locsin, some absences from “Family is Forever” that were noticed by fans were Anne Curtis, Angelica Panganiban, Shaina Magdayao, and Paulo Avelino, among others.

Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
