Dimples Romana reacts to Angel Locsin’s recent visit in quake-hit areas in Mindanao!




It’s been one week since Angel Locsin visited the quake-hit areas in Mindanao. Since then, she has been the talk of the town.


She’s continuously earning praises and commendations from her colleagues and from the Netizens. Her effort to personally go to the badly affected areas were greatly appreciated by the Mindanaoans.




Dimples Romana, Angel Locsin’s bestfriend is one of those who expressed their admiration to Angel’s initiative of going to the quake-hit areas in Mindanao without fanfare and prior announcement of some sort.


In a post she shared on her Instagram account, she called Angel as a real life hero and in one of her interviews, she also shared a story on how she herself is a witness to Angel’s generosity and kindness.


“Si Gel alam mo, sure ako, kahit wala sa industriyang ‘to marami syang natulungan pero sya kasi yung pag tutulong sasabihin nya “wag na wag mong sasabihin ‘to ha, tayong dalawa na lang ‘to ha” kasi hindi yun nagtatanim ng parang may aanihin, yun ay pag binigay nakakalimutan na nya” Dimples narrated.



“May time na may pinagdadaanan ako, sabi nya sa akin “Mars nandito lang ako ha” sabi ko sa kanya, “Gel ‘wag mo akong insultuhin, ako may trabaho din ako ha.” Kasi alam ko sya sasaluhin nya ako e, pero hindi ko naman ‘yun gagawin sa kanya dahil mahal na mahal ko naman yun” Dimples Romana shared as she recounts how Angel immediately offered help when she went through something.




Angel Locsin is very consistent in helping others especially at times of distress. It is not the first time that her causes made headlines and went viral. When people need help the most, Angel always comes to the rescue the best way she possibly can! A real life hero indeed!

The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
