Angel Locsin to the rescue! Spotted buying relief goods for Earthquake victims in Davao!




There is no denying that Angel Locsin’s dedication to public service and humanitarianism make her a modern-day hero. True enough that you don’t need costume or some sort of mutant powers to be a superhero.


While many of us are caught up in remembering our dearly departed or perhaps, partying all night and day for the Halloween, Angel Locsin flies to Davao to mobilize relief operation a few hours after attending the OPULENCE: Let Them Eat Cake! Halloween party last night.


It is known to many that Angel is a living angel in an Earth suit. Going WAY above and beyond the call of her duty to save others whenever she foregoes the comfort of her home to provide relief and mobilize rescue operations every time there is a calamity.




Selflessness and unreluctance have become her way of life that also influence other people to do something they weren’t required to do.


It can be recalled that she even went to ground zero in war-stricken Marawi, putting her safety and life at risk, to witness its predicament herself and thoroughly understand how she could be of help.


She is also very vocal advocating for gender equality and women empowerment and an active blood donor representing Philippine Red Cross as its ambassador.


And today, Angel was spotted NCCC Uyanguren, with fiancé, Neil Arce buying sacks of rice and grocery items that will be distributed to residents in quake-affected areas according to SunStar Davao.


Angel is really one those who first to respond in times like this. Mindanao was hit by three powerful earthquakes just this week and aftershocks are expected but no war, strong typhoon, earthquake or any kind of danger can stop Angel from lending a hand.

Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
