Angel Locsin surprises Dimples Romana on her birthday!




Angel Locsin and Dimples Romana have been the best of friends since they first worked together in the fantasy series, “Lobo.”


They have been supportive of each other and their love for each other blossomed from being friends to family at this point in their lives.


Despite their hectic schedules, both make an effort to spend quality time together and both are unconditionally happy and proud seeing each other succeed, find love and just feel content.




Last night, Angel connived with the Kadenang Ginto production, Dimples’ family, friends and fans to treat her best friend to an early birthday surprise party.


Dimples who turned 35 today, November 13, was overwhelmed and touched by the gesture and posted a glimpse of last night’s celebration with the caption:


"Can’t seem to find the exact words yet to share just how grateful I am. Sabihin na lang natin, I have the best friends in the entire universe. Need to sleep a bit now because I need to wake up in an hour again for a 5 a.m. calltime for a shoot for a brand I know you all love. So many of you have been waiting for me to do this, so I finally will.”


On Instagram, Eilyn Yatco with the IG handle @mspainteilyn shared how the surprise was pulled off.

City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was filled with so much gratitude as he thanked those people for their outpouring support to the city of Manila via donations and to those who have provided assistance including the philanthropic actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
