After ‘The General’s Daughter’ what’s next for Angel Locsin?


What do we have to look forward to for the action-drama queen?


That’s what Angel Locsin answered at The General’s Daughter’s grand finale press conference.


Angel Locsin is on hiatus for five years after her hit teleserye ‘The Legal Wife’.




It was just April last year when they announced her comeback through a television series ‘The General’s Daughter.'


It took almost nine months for the show to premiere and aired its first episode Jan. 21st  of this year.


Eight months and two weeks on air, ‘The General’s Daughter’ aired its finale episode last Oct 4, 2019.


Now that the show has come to its end, everyone is asking about Angel Locsin’s future projects and that’s what she addressed at the grand finale press conference “Meron po akong four na pending movies sa star cinema na kailangan ko pong gawin bago matapos ang contract ko. Ayoko muna pag-usapan kasi… ako kasi hangga’t wala pa talaga dyan sa harap mo hindi patalaga sya tuloy.


After ‘The General’s Daughter’, ayusin ko muna ‘yung health ko ulit sa dami ng mga binagsak ko po and all so papagaling ho muna ulit ako and aayusin ko po ‘yung kasal ko, I think ‘yun yung mas malaking challenge, mas mahirap na challenge po na papasukin ko at good luck na lang po talaga sa’kin.”


Four pending movies and a wedding to plan; that’s what Angel Locsin will be up to now that her teleserye has come to its end.




We can only wish for her to have a follow-up project as soon as possible but now that she is gearing towards a new chapter in her life and has some important matter to prioritize, the best thing that we can do is wait and continue supporting her future endeavors.

City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was filled with so much gratitude as he thanked those people for their outpouring support to the city of Manila via donations and to those who have provided assistance including the philanthropic actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

Angel Locsin lists down donated goods to Taal victims, thanks donors and volunteers!

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
