This Angel Locsin Television Journey is a delightful trip down memory lane!





Angel Locsin in undeniably one of the topnotch actresses in the country.


Considering all her unparalleled achievements, good reputation and tenure in showbiz, she is indeed one of the biggest names in the industry well-deserved to be called an ICON.


An Angel both in name and in actions, she is a personification of inner beauty for her unflashy philanthropic efforts which make her even more indecipherably beautiful!


She rose to stardom in Mulawin where she played her first iconic role of a half human-half bird super-heroine, Alwina,


and her ICON status was solidified when she donned the trademark red and gold costume of the Mars Ravelo’s comic book heroine, Darna in 2005, who made history that even up to this day remains unrivalled.




Her perfect mix of impeccable high caliber drama, fantasy and action-packed filmography as the television characters Sabina and Gabriela Agoncillo among others and her remarkable portfolio of achievements in the big screen put Angel on a pedestal.


Even before her controversial transfer to ABS-CBN Network, she’s already reached her IDOL status and has gotten even more remarkable in acting when she starred in a Maalala Mo Kaya episode entitled “Pilat” with Sam Milby in 2007 which gave her her first acting award. All her succeeding MMK episodes earned different accolades since her first win.


She then played the role of Lyka Raymundo in LOBO in 2008 which soared high enough that it was recognized internationally in the prestige Emmy Awards and Banff World Media Festival.


After the immense success of Lobo, she took on the role of Jillian Mendoza, in the Philippine remake of the South Korean drama titled Only You in 2009.


Also one of the many action-drama obra maestras she starred in is Imortal in 2010, the sequel to the 2008 award-winning fantaseries, Lobo.


Proving her versatility, Angel played the role of Isabel Padausdos in the 2011 sitcom Toda Max with Robin Padilla, Vhong Navarro and Pokwang.


It ran through 2013 and wowed us again in 2014 in the drama series titled The Legal Wife as Monica Santiago-de Villa.


After her teleserye hiatus for more than 3 years, Angel reprised the role of Lia Ortega-Rodriguez and later Jacintha Magsaysay in the third chapter of the Moonstone trilogy, La Luna Sangre.


And just as how she always delivers world class performance, Angel Locsin exceptionally depicted the role of Samina in the 2017 MMK episode ‘Kotse-Kotsehan’ which made it the most award-winning MMK episode to date.




As the multi-awarded, versatile and the most ICONIC actress of her generation, also dubbed as the ACTION-DRAMA QUEEN, Angel Locsin has just concluded yet another record-breaking teleserye, “The General’s Daughter.” Its finale was aired on October 4.
