The General’s Daughter is set to air its final episode on October 4.


According to Dreamscape head Deo Endrinal, it is the right time to end it when asked why during the show’s finale Grand Press Conference held at the Dolphy Theater in ABS-CBN, last Thursday.


“Iyong kuwento po kasi hindi naman nating gusto palaylayin natin. Mas gusto po ng team and management na, 'Let's end this at the right time, na magtatapos siya sa length nung kuwento na nararapat para sa kanya," the TV executive explained.


It was also revealed that the ending had been planned a month ago, says on the report by ABS-CBN News.




As for Angel Locsin, The General’s Daughter is a mission accomplished.


Not only because it was huge hit among viewers that consistently triumphs in the ratings game and wins the hearts of netizens and critiques; but also because of the vigorous action stunts she was still able to pull off after a back injury that made her slightly doubt if she still can.


"Na-prove ko naman na kaya ko pa," Angel said proving that she still has a lot to offer as the Queen of the genre.


"Ito iyong sinasabi nila na ...kung ano man iyong kayang gawin ng kalalakihan, kaya rin gawin ng mga kababaihan,” she added.


After the show, Angel shared that she will be taking a break from acting to prepare for her upcoming wedding with fiancé, Neil Arce.




She also shared that she is set to do four movies under Star Cinema but there’s no details yet on when and what they will be about.

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims.
