Ms. Korina Sanchez describes Angel Locsin as "One of the nicest and most real of the stars"!




Angel Locsin is one of the brightest stars at the recently concluded PMPC Star Awards for TV.


She’s also one of the most celebrated stars in the event as she was hailed as one of the TV Queens at the turn of the millennium and the Best Drama Actress for her superb performance as Rhian Bonifacio in ‘The General’s Daughter.’


Ms. Korina Sanchez-Roxas was among the stars who attended the award’s night. She was recognized as the best magazine show host while her show Rated K was recognized as the best magazine show.




Ms. Korina Sanchez-Roxas chanced to meet Angel Locsin at the event as seen on her recent post on her instagram account.


On her caption, Ms. Korina wrote “StarSpot. One of the nicest and most real of the stars. Angel Locsin is certified box office, always a winner.” 


Angel Locsin left a comment on the said post expressing her gratitude to the positive remarks from Ms. Korina Sanchez. “Thank you Ms. Korina. Congratulations po ulit” Angel Locsin wrote.


“One of the nicest and most real of the stars”, Angel Locsin is without a doubt one of the few stars in the industry who have the purest and most genuine heart.


Her colleagues have nothing but good words for her. We have heard stories about Angel Locsin’s genuine kindness not only from her colleagues but also from other people who first-hand experience her kindness.


That night, Angel Locsin shines the brightest. Alongside four other TV Queens who attended the event, they were serenaded by two of the most sought-after singers in the industry, Erik Santos and Christian Bautista.




She is the big winner that night, apart from her recognitions, the show that she top billed, ‘The General’s Daughter,’ also won as the Best Primetime TV Series.

The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
