It’s a wrap for The General’s Daughter. Its finale episode that was aired last Oct. 4, 2019 sparked conversations and became the talk of the town.

It trended worldwide with over 100K total accumulated tweets holding its place on the top spot until the next morning.

That night will forever go down in history of Philippine television as one of the biggest finale in primetime TV.

To celebrate The General’s Daughter’s success, Dreamscape organized a viewing party which is followed by a thanksgiving party at Cities Events place in Quezon City.

The show’s cast headed by Angel Locsin together with Paulo Avelino, Jc de Vera, Mr. Tirso Cruz III, Mr. Albert Martinez, Ms. Janice de Belen, Ms. Maricel Soriano, Ms. Eula Valdes, Ryza Cenon, Loisa Andalio, Ronnie Alonte, staff and crew of production, and everyone who made the show possible were present at the said event.

Dreamscape entertainment’s head Mr. Deo endrinal and ABS-CBN’s big bosses Direk Lauren Dyogi, Ms. Cory Vidanes and Mr. Carlo Katigbak were also in attendance. They watched the finale episode and had a thanksgiving party right after.

It was a night full of fun and celebration. Everyone is celebrating The General’s Daughter’s success.

Through the course of its run, it cannot be denied that it is the no. 1 show in primetime bida.

Nationwide ratings from Kantar media and AGB Nutam and its strong online presence says it all.

Angel Locsin’s death-defying stunts never fail to amaze the viewers making it one of the most if not the most trending topic in various social media sites.

The General’s Daughter is one of a kind. It was years ago when Filipino viewers were blessed to see such a powerhouse cast!

City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was filled with so much gratitude as he thanked those people for their outpouring support to the city of Manila via donations and to those who have provided assistance including the philanthropic actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
