Freelance talent shares his experience of working with Angel Locsin in the General’s Daughter!




It was just recently when The General’s Daughter closed its book.


They told their story for more than eight successful months.


The show which is billed as the biggest teleserye of 2019 just had the biggest finale ever last Oct 4, 2019.


Through the course of its run, a handful of freelance talents had the chance to work with the main casts of the show and as the show ends, they did not forget to show appreciation to the people they worked with especially to Angel Locsin.




On his Instagram account, Jeric Gomez wrote on his caption the story how he was able take a photo with Angel Locsin.

“Isa ako sa mga talents na maswerte na naisalang sa show ng The Generals Daughter. Sobrang bonus na lang yung nakaselfie ako sa isang Ms. Angel Locsin Nung day 1, hanggang ngiti at tingin lang kami dahil hindi basta basta makapagpapicture sa mga artista baka mapagalitan pa kami at mahigpit din ang mga production/staff. Natapos yung araw at scene namin na hanggang abang lang at packup na. Kahit dumating na sa point na dumaan na sa harap namin si Ate Angel kaso kinain na kami ng hiya at madilim na din ang mga oras na iyon. Mabuti na lang, Nagkaroon pa kami ng Continuity Ang nasa ko isip ko agad nun. Yes! Pagkakataon na namin yun Hindi ko na papalagpasin pa at Ayoko din talaga mapackup na wala man lang Remembrance selfie kay Ate Angel Eh kasi diba nandoon kana eh? Sayang naman Hahahahaha. Natapos na yung scene namin, Tamang abangers na lang kami. Sabay lumabas na si Ate angel sa van. Epic talaga, Nakaselfie na yung isa kong tropa tapos ako papunta palang. Sabi ng staff nun sa mga co-talents ko na, Huwag na paisa-isa, Groufie na lang kayo para mabilis. Pumunta ako sa likuran nila at nakisingit Sabi ko sarili ko nun bahala na kinakabahan ako sabay lapit kay ate Angel ng mabilisan at pasimple "Papicture po ako Ate angel. Thankyou po." Sakto, after nun, Packup na din pala. Umuwi ako na ang laki ng ngiti ko nun sobra.”


To be able to work with Angel Locsin was a dream come true for him he wrote, “Unexpected, Dream come true Grabe. Nung nakasama na namin siya sa eksena, Speechless lang ako na nakatitig lang sa kanya na nakangiti.”


He expressed his admiration to the actress and how concerned she was with the people she worked with “Napakaganda na at mabait pa bukod doon napaka concern niya sa mga taong nakapaligid sa kanya. Solid!!!.Nakakabilib na Veteran Actress  kaya Super Blessed & Thankful ako. Nakakamiss at Nakakalungkot Maraming salamat po Ate @therealangellocsin sa pagbibigay ng inspirasyon sa lahat Ate Rhian Bonifacio Saludo kami sayo! ”




It was not the first time that we heard stories like these about Angel Locsin. Her humility and genuine kindness is what sets her apart in a sea of great actresses in biz.

Mayor Isko to Angel Locsin, “Mabasa ka sana ng ulan para dumami ka pa.”

The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
