Dimples Romana congratulates Angel Locsin on the success of The General’s Daughter.




The General’s Daughter billed as the biggest teleserye of 2019 because of its story, scale of production and the impeccable acting skills of its cast changed the primetime viewing habit of every Filipino families.


Every time it is on, it easily becomes Philippine’s finest hour. Now that the show has come to its end, it cannot be denied that a show as big as The General’s Daughter is one tough act to follow and it may take years for us to be able to witness a show with a powerhouse cast as powerful as the finest actors breathing life to each character we loved in The General’s Daughter.


It was just recently when The General’s Daughter ended and it still feels so unreal that the show we loved for more than eight months has come to its end.


The show ended with a bang! It trended worldwide with over 100K accumulated tweets.


It was also the most watched TV program that day garnering a whopping 18.7% share in AGB Nielsen NUTAM People’s rating making it the highest rated finale of 2019.




The success of the show can’t be denied. The numbers and its impact to the viewers speak for itself.


Everyone is celebrating its success and congratulatory message and praises to the casts and everyone that made this show possible are pouring.

Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
