Angel Locsin at the gallery of stars in ABS-CBN Broadcasting Center hallway!




True to its label as the network giant, ABS-CBN network, popularly known as the Kapamilya network houses the biggest and brightest stars in the country.


Stars who are well known not only in the country but also outside the Philippines being able to sell out shows and concerts in various part of the globe.

After almost 20 years, photos at the gallery of stars are now renewed. Some stars were retained at the said gallery like the comedy king Dolphy, John Lloyd Cruz, Piolo Pascual to name a few and majority were “fresh” faces in the hallway one of which is Angel Locsin.


It has been 12 years since Angel Locsin took a leap on her career and moved to Kapamilya network.


It is one of the most talked about and most controversial network transfers to date.


Angel Locsin has evolved into one of the most versatile and most awarded actress of her generation since then.


To date, she starred in 5 TV shows all of which are well perceived by the viewing public, she also top-billed 7 movies under starcinema that raked millions of pesos in the box-office.


With numerous acting awards under her belt and achievements that she can take pride of, Angel Locsin is definitely one of the prized stars of Kapamilya network and undoubtedly one of the brightest among the sea of stars.




Just like what an Instagram user who goes by the username ‘therealangelstan’ wrote, more than a mere status symbol, giving Angel Locsin her own spot at the hallway of stars is in a way paying homage to her who’s made such a huge contribution to the success of the network over the years through her body of work!

Mayor Isko to Angel Locsin, “Mabasa ka sana ng ulan para dumami ka pa.”

City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was filled with so much gratitude as he thanked those people for their outpouring support to the city of Manila via donations and to those who have provided assistance including the philanthropic actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Amongst many personalities who spoke up against the government order to close ABS-CBN's broadcast operations, Philanthropic actress Angel Locsin also disapproves of the decision as it will cost even more Filipinos their livelihood. “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik,” she said on her Instagram story. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
