Angel Locsin and Paulo Avelino explain the “Basaan” scene in ‘The General’s Daughter’




Angel Locsin starrer teleserye ‘The General’s Daughter’ ends on a high note last Oct. 4, 2019.


The show earned a whopping 18.7% viewership share in AGB Nutam People’s rating and became the most talked about show on their finale week.


Apart from the death-defying action scenes and heart-warming drama scenes, viewers are also hooked to Angel Locsin and Paulo Avelino’s chemistry.


The love story that bloomed between Rhian and Franco did not fail to sweep the viewers off their feet especially whenever they share a scene just like one of the most talked about scenes in the entire series, the ‘Basaan’ scene in #TGDDamay episode.




Angel Locsin and Paulo Avelino explained what really happened behind the scenes at their finale grand press conference.


Angel Locsin narrated how Paulo teased her before they shot the scene “Bago pa nun kasi, sabi nya sakin, “babasain kita!” tapos nang-aasar sya e wala akong hose, wala akong anything so alam ko mababasa talaga ako so tinititigan ko na yung timbang madumi, [naisip ko] ibubuhos ko ‘to sa kanya, eh si Direk sinabi “O Gel pwede mo ibuhos sa kanya ‘yan ha, so ayoko na kasi mapepre-empt nya. Ginawa ko hinatak ko na lang ‘yung hose sa kanya so wala na syang hose, binasa ko na rin sya”


Angel Locsin and Paulo Avelino’s electrifying chemistry made this simple scene one of the most memorable one!


RhiCo (Rhian and Frano) shippers can’t help but play this scene over and over again.

Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
