Last August 22, Parokya ni Edgar’s main vocalist, Chito Miranda, took to Instagram a picture of a Maxpedition Gridflux - a high quality gear based but lightweight shoulder pack and is considered one of the world’s most popular and durable tactical backpacks!


On the caption, he wrote:

“Salamat sa kaibigan kong siga na nagbigay sa akin ng Maxpedition Gridflux ❤ Tinanong ko lang kung ano yung bag na binili nya nung nag-firing kami dati kasi naghahanap ako ng sling bag...and instead na sagutin, binigay nalang nya sa akin yung bag na bibili nya hehe! Labyu!”


Chito neither mentioned nor tagged anyone on his post but who else would first come to mind but his astig best friend, Angel Locsin!




It was confirmed when Angel commented on the post saying, “Hehehe... labyu tsong! Sana magkita naman tayo.”


“@therealangellocsin puntahan kita pag wala ka work,” Chito replied.


Chito and Angel’s friendship stood the test of time and has only proven to be stronger than ever despite having busy schedules and long list of priorities.


Just like how Chito has always been expressive of his love for his wife, Neri and their son Miggy on social media, he also does not forget to show his love for his two best friends, Angel Locsin and Bubbles Paraiso.


Dubbed as “Tropang ABC”, they have been best of friends for years now.

The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
