“Relax lang muna” – Angel Locsin and Neil Arce on planning their wedding.




At the recently concluded celebration of Philippine cinema’s 100th year, Angel Locsin and Neil Arce were spotted together at the red carpet.


Angel Locsin is one of the 300 individuals who were honored as Philippine cinema’s luminaries under Leading lady ng Sentenaryo category.


The couple entertained few questions from the media people waiting at the red carpet and was asked about their upcoming wedding.


Few months after being engaged, the couple revealed few details about the progress of planning their wedding.




Angel Locsin and Neil Arce who got engaged last June 16, 2019 revealed that they are way ahead of their wedding planning.


“Relax lang muna kami kasi masyado yata kaming advance. Sabi ng wedding planner namin kami lang yata ‘yung ganito kabilis kumilos, siguro alam lang naming talaga kung anong gusto namin so relax lang muna.”


The couple was asked if the wedding will take place here in the country or abroad but the couple decided not to answer the question and explained that they still can’t divulge any details yet “’yung mga details hindi pa namin masyadong pwedeng isiwalat lahat, malalaman ‘nyo rin. Sa tamang panahon, malalaman ‘nyo ‘yung tamang detalye sa ngayon hindi pa po pwede.”


Aside from the questions about her wedding, Angel Locsin was also asked about her ongoing show “The General’s Daughter”. “Yung mga fight scenes intense na intense talaga nakakatuwa na nagugustuhan ng tao yung mga paghihirap namin.”


Angel also revealed that the show is nearing its end “malapit na rin ang aming pagtatapos so kailangan talaga pa-intense nang pa-intense para sa mga tao.”


Everyone is excited for Angel and Neil’s wedding. Though they are still mum about the wedding details, the couple assured that they’ll be sharing the things that they can share, “Pagdating ng Panahon” as what Neil Arce said referencing to Ice Seguerra’s hit song.

The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
