Maymay and Edward wish to work with Angel Locsin and Arjo Atayde in an ACTION MOVIE!




Maymay Entrata is one of the newest Kapamilya young actresses, notable for winning the reality TV show Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky Season 7 and for being the first Filipina personality to walk in the Arab Fashion Week.


She is also a singer and a composer and we can say that she is really a star in the making.


Edward Barber, on the other hand, is a British-Filipino actor and TV personality who placed fourth in the same reality TV show, both making a name in their own right as onscreen partner and individual artists.




Proving that there’s no dream that’s too big to achieve, Maymay and Edward Barber, made it to big screen with the Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda in last year's "Fantastica.”


They also got the lead roles in their rom-com debut film "Loving in Tandem" and also tried horror in 2017's "DOTGA: Da One that Ghost Away.”


And in a recent interview, the two young star tell Star Cinema that they’re ready to take on more challenging roles, specifically in action films!


And what better way to challenge yourself in the action genre but to work with none other than, the ACTION-DRAMA QUEEN, Ms. Angel Locsin and the award-winning actor, Arjo Atayde, who are both in the ABS-CBN’s action-drama primetime series, “The General’s Daughter.”


“Gusto ko 'yung action talaga! Kasi na-try po namin siya sa 'Fantastica' at nag-enjoy ako, 'yun nga lang pagkatapos nga lang, pag pack-up na, 'pag kinabukasan noon hindi ka [makagalaw, makatayo]. Sakit ng katawan! Ang payat-payat ko pa, walang muscle. Pero masaya naman po, challenge siya. Game!" Maymay said on the report by Star Cinema.

The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
