Angel Locsin hits 6M followers on Instagram!





It was just a few months ago when Angel Locsin reached the 5M followers mark on Instagram.


On her post celebrating this milestone, Angel expressed her intention to do a fund raising event amongst her followers to share the love to those who are in need.


Though the fund raising event hasn’t been materialized yet, Angel Locsin already extended her hand to help 31 aspiring young minds to go to school.


Just recently, Angel Locsin’s Instagram account grew another million followers and now has 6M followers in total!




With over 15M followers on facebook, 11.3M followers on twitter and now with 6M followers on Instagram, Angel Locsin emerge as one of the most followed personality in the Philippines.


These platforms can be beneficiary to someone especially in today’s generation where everything is transferring to digital media.


It can be used to safekeep a memory that you can look back few years later, some uses it to earn from brand deals, expand their market or simply just for publicity but Angel Locsin on the other hand made use of her account especially her twitter to mobilize people and drive help in times of calamities.


Angel Locsin is a woman of influence. She uses her huge following in all of her social media accounts not just to her advantage but for everyone else especially those people who are in need.

Mayor Isko to Angel Locsin, “Mabasa ka sana ng ulan para dumami ka pa.”

City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was filled with so much gratitude as he thanked those people for their outpouring support to the city of Manila via donations and to those who have provided assistance including the philanthropic actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
