#NINANGDUTIES: Watch this cute video of Angel Locsin doing her INAANAK’s first haircut!




Being a godparent is not an easy task. Godparents are either family or friends chosen to by the parents to take an interest in the child’s upbringing and personal development.


It’s both an honor, a pride to be taken, that you are trusted to be someone else’s second parent and a responsibility to bring something in the mix —child’s character, social and spiritual beliefs, emotional state, and success just to name a few.


Traditionally, it is promise to encourage their godchild to grow in faith and live their life in a Christian way.


It does end when they become adults, rather a life-long commitment to stay connected with the child in some manner throughout life.


Last week, Angel Locsin flew to California together with the biggest and brightest stars of ABS-CBN Network for the #ASAPNatinToBayArea held at S.A.P Center in San Jose, California in celebration of The Filipino Channel’s ASAP 25th anniversary. It was broadcasted live last Sunday, August 3.


It was indeed a great time for Angel Locsin as she was also able to spend quality time not only with her fans abroad but also with her friends and family in the West Coast.


One of them is her non-showbiz bestfriend, Lani, who lives there.


Angel uploaded a few photos of them together on her Instagram account showing how much she missed her best friend and how strong their friendship is despite being miles apart.


But what really caught our attention is the video of a cutie patootie having his first cut that Angel also took to Instagram. “Kwentong Barbero,” she said on the caption.


Eeeeee, look at all those chubby sweet cheeks! Just by looking at them makes us want to cuddle the baby and join the hair-cutting too!


It was a Filipino superstition that the person who will cut the baby’s hair for the first time should be intelligent so the child will grow up to be intelligent as well.


I guess Mommy Lani wants her baby to get Ninang Angel’s good qualities for them to wait for her to fly all the way to California just to get his hair done for the first time!


Her best friend, Lani, uploaded the same video on her Instagram account with the caption, “Joey’s first haircut by Nangnang @therealangellocsin.. #ninangduty.”


Angel really has a soft spot for kids and has a way with them.


It’s not the first time Angel was seen looking naturally good with children.




This side of her is so adorable and looks so natural that everyone wishes for her to have her own soon! She will surely have beautiful babies too!

City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was filled with so much gratitude as he thanked those people for their outpouring support to the city of Manila via donations and to those who have provided assistance including the philanthropic actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

Angel Locsin lists down donated goods to Taal victims, thanks donors and volunteers!

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
