Angel Locsin: A woman of influence, The Pioneer.

Cosmopolitan’s Women of Influence honors Angel Locsin as The Pioneer because of her humanitarian efforts through the years.

It can be remembered that years back, Angel Locsin together with her friends: Anne Curtis and Dimples Romana spearheaded an auction website called Shop and Share.

It was a charitable initiative in the wake of Typhoon Ondoy and Pepeng in 2009.

It featured items donated by different showbiz personalities up for bids, and all proceeds from the said auction were donated to the Philippine Red Cross, for the benefit of the typhoon-affected families.

Not only that, when the country is badly affected by typhoon Yolanda, Angel Locsin donated her 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle. She has authorized Sagip Kapamilya to publicly auction her muscle car to help raise funds and fuel dreams of a better future for typhoon Yolanda survivors.

People also applauded her courage and bravery when she visited the war-striken Marawi unannounced and brought with her tons of premium canned goods and other stuff which she personally distributed to the IDPs in Marawi and Balo.

These are just few of her notable humanitarian acts. She has done so much to help other people, we may have not heard all of it as she never brags about it but people who experienced her genuine kindness can’t help but share how Angel touched their lives.

Angel Locsin continues to live up to her name. She is indeed The Pioneer as she continues to pioneer causes for other people.

She is a woman of influence, a woman who is not afraid to voice out her opinion when it comes to important issues.

She uses her platform to influence others, mobilize people and drive help especially in times of calamities.

Here’s what Cosmopolitan Philippines has to say about Angel Locsin and her being The Pioneer:
