Angel Locsin remembers late Ms. Gina Lopez.




Earlier today, our country lost a very passionate, brave and a fervent advocate.


Former DENR Secretary and ABS-CBN Foundation Chairman Gina Lopez passes away at 65.


Angel Locsin remembers late Ms. Gina Lopez. On her instagram account, Angel posted a photo with a heart warming caption that reads “Ms. Gina Lopez is one of the strong women I truly admire most — a staunched protector of children’s rights and welfare, a fearless environmental defender, and a strong advocate of livelihood and ancestral domain of indigenous people. Her love for Mother Earth and humanity is the legacy she left us. She IS advocacy, passion, strength and hope personified who will forever inspire us and shall constantly remind us of the most important thing in life: TO GIVE MEANING TO EXISTENCE. Ms. Gina did not only live a meaningful life. She added color and perspective to everyone else’s. Let us remember her legacy by continuing what she stood for. RIP Ms. Gina.”





It can be remembered that in an interview, Ms. Gina expressed her admiration to Angel Locsin.


Apparently, Angel Locsin is her favorite actress, “I haven’t met her but I heard she’s a really beautiful person” she said.



She is very vocal about her desire to work with Angel, in fact in her previous project called “Quest for Love” she also has Angel Locsin in mind when asked about getting stars involved in the project.



This news saddened a lot of people who remembered her great contribution as an advocate of children’s welfare, environment protection and conservation, and livelihood of indigenous people in far-flung provinces.




She sure does contributed a lot for our environment and the Filipino people.


Your legacy will forever be remebered Ms. Gina. May you rest in peace.

City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was filled with so much gratitude as he thanked those people for their outpouring support to the city of Manila via donations and to those who have provided assistance including the philanthropic actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans. On her Instagram post, the actress expressed her gratitude to more than 100 volunteers who helped them repack food packs and hygiene kits.
