Angel Locsin is back on It’s Showtime as one of Bidaman: The Big Break panel of judges!




Bidaman is one of It’s Showtime’s competition aiming to look for the next leading man.


After weeks of choosing the finalists, they have come to the grand finals which is held at the New Frontier Theater.


12 grand finalists were chosen to compete for the title as the ultimate bidaman.


These 12 grand finalists had a tough job impressing the special set of Hurados composed of critically acclamied actors/actresses one of which is Angel Locsin.


Angel Locsin is indeed a perfect choice to be one of the judges in this kind of competition.


Her experience in acting for more than a decade has honed her skills making her one of the most awarded versatile actresses of her generation.


She has earned accolades both locally and internationally.


Judging these talented hopefuls is for sure one tough job for the panel of judges.


All of them showed exemplary performances from showing their talent in singing or dancing and acting with kapamilya leading ladies.


When asked to give her comment about the hopeful’s performances, Angel Locsin went ahead and said, “Gusto ko lang mag congratulate sa inyong anim dyan kasi kagaya nga ng sinabi ni Direk Ruel, hindi madali ‘yung ginawa ‘nyo lalo na nung nakaeksena nyo ‘yung nga taong napapanood ‘nyo lang sa telebisyon alam ko yung pakiramdam na ‘yan nakakangatog ‘yan pero nairaos ‘nyo yung exercise so congratulations.”


Angel then proceeded to express her observations and send the bidaman hopefuls her goodnews “May goodnews ako sa inyo, kayong lahat, alam kong meron kayong puwang sa industriyang ‘to. May pinakita kayong dedikasyon, talent, kagwapuhan, at meron na kayong na-build na loyal fans. Pero ‘wag nating kakalimutan, sa istorya ng isang sine, iisa lang ang bidaman.”




Alongside Angel Locsin, the set of hurados include Joshua Garcia, Nadine Lustre, Ian Veneracion, Direk Ruel Bayani, Edu Manzano and It’s Showtime’s director, Direk Bobet Vidanes.

City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was filled with so much gratitude as he thanked those people for their outpouring support to the city of Manila via donations and to those who have provided assistance including the philanthropic actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
