Angel Locsin celebrates her 12th year in ABS-CBN!




It was way back 2007 when Angel Locsin decided to take a leap on her career and transferred to kapamilya network.


It has been a very controversial move but it sure does opened new doors for her.


12 years after that very controversial day, Angel Locsin’s career continue to prosper as a Kapamilya to date.


After Angel inked a two year contract with ABS-CBN way back August 11, 2007, she starred her first teleserye “Lobo” with Piolo Pascual.


Her exemplary performance earned her an iEmmy Awards nomination.


Their partnership was then followed by a movie project “Love Me Again” which marks her first movie under Star Cinema.


One project after the other, Angel Locsin becomes one of the most sought after actresses of her generation and is popularly known as the Action Drama Queen.


She also earned numerous accolades and recognition both locally and internationally.


Angel Locsin has proved that she’s still the force to be reckoned with in the industry.


After few roles both on the big screen and on TV, she has received few accolades locally and internationally because of her exemplary acting skills.


She always overdo herself and beat her own record one role over the other.


Angel Locsin is indeed the one and only, she has made a name in the industry that needs no further introduction.


She’s a fan favorite and an inspiration, inspiration through her roles and through her good deeds in real life.


Through the years, nothing has changed with Angel Locsin, she’s still the beautiful and talented Angel that always deliver award winning performances.


At present, Angel Locsin is currently headlining a top rated show The General’s Daughter which is billed as the largest teleserye of 2019.

Mayor Isko to Angel Locsin, “Mabasa ka sana ng ulan para dumami ka pa.”

City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was filled with so much gratitude as he thanked those people for their outpouring support to the city of Manila via donations and to those who have provided assistance including the philanthropic actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Amongst many personalities who spoke up against the government order to close ABS-CBN's broadcast operations, Philanthropic actress Angel Locsin also disapproves of the decision as it will cost even more Filipinos their livelihood. “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik,” she said on her Instagram story. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans. On her Instagram post, the actress expressed her gratitude to more than 100 volunteers who helped them repack food packs and hygiene kits.
