Recently, bestfriends Angel Locsin and Dimples Romana visited SOS Children’s Village Philippines, a private, non-political, non-denominational organization in Muntinlupa that provides long-term family-based care to children in need.


The General’s Daughter’s Rhian Bonifacio and Kadenang Ginto’s Daniela Mondragon took a time out and bonded over home-cooked meals they personally made and prepared for the children of SOSCVPH.


The organization shared to Facebook photos of their fun time with Dimples and Angel saying, “Thank you, Dimples Romana Angel Locsin and family, for being truly stellar friends — to each other, to SOSCVPH, and to every child.


The stars shone brightly upon our lively Manila village yesterday, bringing gifts, cooking up a show in the kitchen, and sharing laughter, joy and inside jokes with everyone.”


Meanwhile, Dimples also took to Instagram this rewarding and humbling experience and wrote:

But in friendships, it’s not how often you see one another, as long as you stay in touch, thru calls or messages and as long as you make each bonding moment count, it’s all that matters.


Isa sa mga ipinagpapasalamat ko sa buhay ay ang naging kaibigan kita. You taught me to give even when it’s not necessary, give even when no one is looking, to give not only monetary help but also to give time, effort and care.


Hindi pa marunong magluto si Gel kaya when we got to their kitchen there, Sabi nya Mars Ano gawin ko? Sabi ko, Eto kaldero hugasan mo at hugas naman sya! Inunti unti ko na turuan magluto para di naman itlog at hotdog lang ang ipagluto sayo nito @neil_arce in case man, may pagkain ka naman sa mga restaurants mo, Ikaw na bahala neil ha nakasurvive kami in the kitchen and Cooked my white tuna pasta dish for the kids, Sakto pa bday nung isang baby girl dun.

Mayor Isko to Angel Locsin, “Mabasa ka sana ng ulan para dumami ka pa.”

City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was filled with so much gratitude as he thanked those people for their outpouring support to the city of Manila via donations and to those who have provided assistance including the philanthropic actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
