Dimples on Angel: “Everyone needs an Angel Locsin sa buhay nila. I already have mine.”




Famous or not, everyone has to have someone to lean on when things get tough.


Someone you can talk to whenever, wherever.


Someone you can laugh and cry with.


Someone who accepts your flaws and will be with you through thick and thin.


Someone you can call a friend.


However, it is not easy to find true friends and what more if you are a famous celebrity, finding the real ones can be really tricky and almost impossible.


Friendship is precious, priceless as a matter of fact, and although it's not always easy to find, there are always good people that have the same interests, values and morals as you.


They are hard to come by, yes, but as with all matters of the heart, you will know when you find them.


And that is exactly how Angel Locsin and Dimples Romana wear their hearts on their sleeves to tell the world how blessed they are to have each other.


Earlier today, the Kadenang Ginto star, Dimples Romana shared on Instagram a screenshot of Angel’s heartfelt message to her. It says:


“Hoy
Kung sakaling pagod ka ngayon
Gusto lang kitang iremind kung gaano ka kahusay at ang daming nakaka- appreciate ng lahat ng pinaghirapan mo

She was deeply touched as this was sent to her out of the blue so she wrote:

“Got this message from my bestfriend today. No occasion, Wala naman akong na kwento, Hindi ko din birthday (Scorpio ako, November pa yun), Pero naisip lang nya ako kasi ganun sya.


Lagi nyang iniisip ang iba bago siya. Not everyone gets to know of her kindness and even when they do it’s always low key because she never boasts of the way she helps others. Yun sya.


Naisip lang nya ako today Kahit na Di kami madalas magkita, Kahit na Sobrang Dami nyang ginagawa, lalo na ngayon.

The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
