Angel Locsin is now engaged!


Yesterday, Angel Locsin herself announced on Instagram that she and her boyfriend, now fiancé, Neil Arce, have taken another notch in their relationship.


The two shared this engagement news via series of photos on their Instagram accounts.


Neil posted a photo of him holding the engagement ring and on the caption he wrote, "Excuse me miss... I have a question...”


And of course, Angel said YES!


On a similar post, Angel shared a photo of her wearing the ring and called the proposal the "Surprise of her life."


But of course she said YES to boyfriend Neil’s proposal that she called “Surprise of my life.”


She simply wrote on a similar post, “We’re engaged! Waaaaaaaaaah.”


Then Neil shared another photo with a heart-melting caption that says, "Thank you for allowing me to be with you, take care of you and most of all love you for the rest of my life.”


Everyone was thrilled to hear this great news and their mixed emotions and reactions flooded the social media.


But her dear friend and fellow actress, Iza Calzado probably had the most epic response that was caught on a video by a fan during the Pride March.




She definitely and accurately sums up all our reactions and Angel finds it so cute too when she saw the video clip.


“Hahaha! Ang cute mo mars @MissIzaCalzado,” she wrote on a tweet.

The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
