Angel Locsin shows off her new toy!



Angel Locsin for all we know is very particular when it comes to her survival/self-defense kit. We saw how she prepares Go bags for her and her family in one of her Magandang Buhay guestings way back 2016 and not long time ago, it was also revealed that she has a survival kit handy wherever she goes.


In Darla Sauler’s online show called bag raid, she showed a multi-fuction card that has a knife, toothpick, and flashlight in it and early this year, when Darla visited her dressing room and checked what’s in her bag for the second time around, they found several tools for survival, a titanium whistle and a knife even her permit to carry cards are also in sight.


Just recently, Angel Locsin shared that she got a new toy! Not an ordinary toy but another tool she can use for self-defense. It was a sentry expandable friction lock baton which is designed for security professionals. In a video she shared on her instagram story, it can be seen that she’s already getting herself used to using the baton. The said video was then reposted by her followers who were amazed with the way she’s handling it like a pro!





Angel Locsin is very particular with one’s safety in fact, years ago, instead of throwing a party for herself, Angel Locsin celebrated her birthday with the women of Gabriela and showed them some techniques on how to defend themselves if need be. She is well equipped with self-defense tools and survival kits just like her character Rhian Bonifacio in her ongoing show The General’s Daughter.

City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was filled with so much gratitude as he thanked those people for their outpouring support to the city of Manila via donations and to those who have provided assistance including the philanthropic actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans. On her Instagram post, the actress expressed her gratitude to more than 100 volunteers who helped them repack food packs and hygiene kits.
