SPOTTED: Angel Locsin treks at the Panimahawa Ridge of Bukidnon!



Angel Locsin is your no ordinary girl on and off cam. Whenever we think of Filipina Iconic beauty, Angel Locsin is one of the first that springs to mind. She is divinely gorgeous inside and out, encompassing so much of what we call now a real Angel on Earth, Angel is definitely an ICON in her own right. She’s also as an alumnus of FHM’s sexiest title and various lists of most beautiful and most famous faces in and out of the country.


But more than just her pretty face and appeal, Angel Locsin is also notable as the ACTION-DRAMA QUEEN with impeccable achievements in action and drama both on television series and film. She’s also a household name for her fantaseryes that led to Philippine television spin-offs and ushered the era of the said genre. In some of her interviews, Angel revealed that action has always been her genre of choice; no wonder why the title Queen of Action Drama fits no one but her.

Having said that, we can say that Angel is really an adrenaline junkie. Known to many, Angel is someone who’s always looking for something exhilarating to get her adrenaline pumping. There was a time that despite her spine condition, it didn’t stop her from doing what she loves the most: Mountain Hiking and Climbing. In fact, she conquered not just one but five mountains in a span of three weeks: Mt. Cayabu, Mt. Maculot, Mt. Ulap, Mt. Pamitinan, and Mt. Batolusong! Also a nature lover, Angel couldn’t help but stood up against vandalism during her hike to Mt. Pico De Loro. And after she had gone on a mountain climbing craze locally, she added another milestone in her outdoor adventure by conquering Sunset Peak in Hongkong, her first hike outside the Philippines. She was also spotted last year with boyfriend Neil Arce and celebrity friends enjoying a fun adventure in Sagada Mountain Province.

Angel Locsin’s spunk doesn’t end despite her current busy schedule. Taking a time out from their hectic schedule, The General’s Daughter star gets to spend the long weekend and flew to Bukidnon where she once had been few years back. But this time, the actress was spotted trekking at the Panimahawa Ridge of Impasug-ong, Bukidnon with her boyfriend, Neil Arce and celebrity friends Boy II Quizon and Bubbles Paraiso among others.

City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was filled with so much gratitude as he thanked those people for their outpouring support to the city of Manila via donations and to those who have provided assistance including the philanthropic actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
