“Gandang Babae ng kapatid ko o!” - Vice Ganda to Angel Locsin

Angel Locsin has been active recently on social media and fans couldn’t get any happier. Last February, she posted a close-up photo of her on Instagram and on the caption she wrote, “She wore a smile like a loaded gun...-Atticus @dookieducay.”


Vice Ganda was quick to comment calling Angel her beautiful sister. “Gandang Babae ng kapatid ko o!!!!!”




Angel Locsin and Vice Ganda are two of the most prominent personalities in Philippine Showbiz. Both are two of the most followed and most influential celebrities who have reached IDOL status in their own right. Known to many, the two have worked together in It’s Showtime and Pilipinas Got Talent and have been really good friends since then.


Vice Ganda has always held Angel Locsin in high regard and very vocal in public on how beautiful, kind, thoughtful and caring Angel is to him. It can recalled during his livestream on his Instagram account, Vice revealed how Angel went the extra mile and looked after his health by sending him buko juice to ensure that he drinks it everyday for his immediate recovery. He also repeatedly told his viewers how unmeasurable Angel’s beauty is on Gandang Gabi Vice when the actress guested on the show in January.


This isn’t the first time we have heard celebrities talk about and laud Angel Locsin’s beauty and genuine kindness and definitely not the last time Vice will virtually tell the world how gorgeous Angel is just as how he does it every time. They really are the kind of friends we all wish to have.

The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
