Angel Locsin gets the most wonderful surprise on her birthday!


Angel Locsin just celebrated her birthday and her boyfriend Neil Arce and some of her friends in the industry pulled off the best surprise birthday party yet!



Angel Locsin’s entire day has been hectic because of her taping for her ongoing teleserye “The General’s Daughter” never did she know, her family, her boyfriend, and some of her closest friends in the industry are up to something. As early as the clock strikes 12AM last April 23rd, headed by her boyfriend Neil Arce, some important people in her life gathered together to give her the warmest birthday greetings. In what Angel Locsin thought was their last location for the taping was her family, and some friends in the industry who cheerfully greeted her a happy birthday. In a pitch black room, people are quietly waiting for Angel and the moment she opened the door, lights lit up and what welcomed her are familiar faces who are very close to her heart wishing her a happy birthday smiling right at her. Videos of what transpired at the said birthday surprise was shared online, some of them were from Dimples Romana, Bubbles Paraiso, Kim Molina and Pocholo Baretto’s IG stories.




Present at the surprise birthday party was her family; her father Mr. Angel Colmenares and her siblings, her The General’s Daughter family, her friends, Ms. Malou Santos, and dreamscape unit head Deo Endrinal to name a few.




There’s no better way to celebrate your birthday than celebrating it with the people closest to your heart! It was a very successful surprise birthday party that the one and only action drama queen deserves.

The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
