Angel Locsin gets inked on her Birthday!




Last April 23rd, Angel Locsin celebrated her birthday. Midnight of the said day, a surprise birthday party for the one and only Angel Locsin was organized by her boyfriend Neil Arce. As seen on the videos that circulate online, she was very surprised upon seeing some of her closest friends and family all at the same room. Later that day, Angel Locsin gets something for her birthday, not an expensive or luxurious gift but a permanent one, she gets inked!


Yes! You read that right. For her birthday, Angel Locsin decided to get a new tattoo. Series of photos showing what the new tattoo looks like were shared by the tattoo artist himself who goes by the name “mykesambajontatoo” on instagram. With Angel that night was her boyfriend Neil Arce and her co-star in The General’s Daughter Ms. Eula Valdez.




Her new body art was located on her nape. It has a minimalist design; a diamond in between two short thin lines in blank ink. Though the meaning of the said tattoo was still in blur, according to our reasearch, diamond tattoo symbolizes an inner beauty. “There are sayings that equate these gems with inner beauty (like a "diamond in the rough") which is apt, since they appear rough on the outside when first mined, but once they are polished, their beauty is revealed. Getting tattoo is another way of expressing oneself, some consider it as an art. For some, it may only serve as a decoration but for the majority, each tattoo that was inked to their body has its meaning and relevance.

Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
