Angel Locsin and other cast of The General’s Daughter in between takes!




Angel Locsin is reigning Primetime Bida through her now ongoing teleserye “The General’s Daughter”. 5 years after she last played a lead role in a full length teleserye, she came back with a bang! The General’s Daughter which is under Sir Deo Endrinal’s unit, Dreamscape is now on its 67th episode.



For a teleserye as grand as The General’s Daughter, all elements of the show should be well thought off specially the location where they want the scene to take place. Dreamscape and team just don’t settle for less, they opt to go all out and tape some scenes outside the Metro and go to different provinces in the Philippines. Residents who had the chance to witness what’s happening behind the scenes can’t help but take a photo or video and share it on social media. Photos were quick to go viral, the very reason why fans were able to catch up with what’s happening while they’re taping. Recently, a facebook user “Sikat sa Tarlac” uploaded a few behind the scene photos of Angel Locsin, Paulo Avelino, and JC de Vera in between takes. Series of photos were uploaded but what stands out the most is Angel Locsin’s beauty and her genuine smile that was captured while talking to the residents of the town.





The General’s Daughter really is the best vehicle for Angel Locsin’s comeback. Its promising cast and the story that slowly unfolds before our very eyes are not in any way similar to others. It is a masterpiece backed up with great mounting and grand scale of production. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
