The General’s Daughter is on to its tenth week and viewers can’t get enough of excitement and thrill on the next reveal. One of the trending topics related to the tv series was when Rhian Bonifacio, the titular character played by Angel Locsin, went back to Isla Payapa to seek refuge after failing her suspenseful military espionage. A trained assassin but naturally good-hearted, Rhian almost got caught but was able to get away and led her back to where Manang Isabelle and Elai is, the characters played by Ms. Maricel Soriano and Arjo Atayde respectively. This is where she witnesses a simple life full of unconditional love, good morale and genuine happiness which awakens what her heart really desires far from what she grew up in.


Netizens were moved by the scene shared by Angel, Arjo and the Diamond Star and they always look forward to seeing the three together in one frame. It is still uncertain on what roles Manang Isabelle and Elai will really play on Rhian’s journey to self-discovery and many are sticking around to find out. And the wait is probably almost over because a netizen spotted them in a public market in Tarlac recently taping for The General’s Daughter. Based on the photos and videos shared by the netizen who goes by the Facebook name, Joab Duque, it looked like Rhian is helping Manang Isabelle and Elai in selling fish at the market still looking beautiful as ever.

The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims.
