Behind the scenes: Rhian Bonifacio and her three worlds!


Angel Locsin once again proved that she is the undisputed primetime queen through her ongoing teleserye The General’s Daughter. Aside from the fact that it houses the best of the best actors and actresses in the industry, behind this show is a great team who work hand in hand to give the viewers nothing but the best and in return, it continuously reigns on its timeslot in the rating game.



The General’s Daughter is now on its eleventh week and so far, viewers have nothing but good words on how the story unfolds. They have seen how conflicted Angel Locsin’s character was. Rhian Bonifacio was torn between doing what is right and executing her mission that she’s been trained for half of her life. On the process of finding herself and at times that she felt lost, she always comes back to Barrio Sto. Francisco where she found a love of a family that she’s been longing for through Manang Isabelle and Elai.


Talking about Rhian Bonifacio and her three worlds, we witnessed how she struggled living in these three worlds all at the same time, but if you will be given a chance to choose for her, which one do you prefer? Would you rather see her in the town of Liwanag living the life that she’s used to with Hen. Tiago and Amelia following orders from her father or would you prefer seeing her at the camp fulfilling her duty as a military nurse? Or you would probably want to see her free spirited self, smiling, laughing and just being herself living a simple life with the residents of Barrio Sto. Francisco? City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was filled with so much gratitude as he thanked those people for their outpouring support to the city of Manila via donations and to those who have provided assistance including the philanthropic actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans. On her Instagram post, the actress expressed her gratitude to more than 100 volunteers who helped them repack food packs and hygiene kits.
